Rebecca specialises in wedding make-up and has much experience in this field, not only with brides but all members of the bridal party including Mothers of the bride/groom, bridesmaids and other family members.
There are many benefits of choosing to have your make-up applied professionally on your wedding day, including being able to relax properly before the big event, letting someone else ensure you are ready on time and knowing that the make-up will be applied to last all day, with only the need for minimal touch-ups.
Also, as a trained make-up artist Rebecca will ensure that your make-up looks just as flawless on camera as it does in real-life. There are quite a few considerations to take in to account when allowing for photography and Rebecca is experienced in this, obviously aware of how important your photographs are in recording such a big event.
You should have a trial make-up session well in advance of the day (somewhere around six to three months prior to the wedding day is average, although this does vary depending on your preference). At the trial Rebecca will discuss with you details such as your dress, overall look, flowers, theme and any likes and dislikes regarding make-up.
You can also let her know if there is a particular make-up look/style you would like, or she can offer her own advice and suggestions to achieve a perfect make-up look for you. It is helpful if you have a photo of your dress at the trial although not entirely necessary. It is also a good idea to have a look through any magazines and keep any make-up ideas you like to show Rebecca at your trial.
Rebecca does not offer just one or two "typical" bridal styles. All looks will be individually created for you from the discussion at the start of the trial. Rebecca has experience of many different looks ranging from minimal, natural make-up to more glamorous, elaborate make-up and anything in between. She will work with you to find a look that ensures you look and feel your very best on your special day.
Where possible it is preferable for all members of the bridal party to have a trial beforehand. Extra time will need to be allowed on the wedding day for any members of the party who have not had a trial. These members will also need to be aware that there will not be much time for changing the make-up on the day itself.
Going somewhere special? Why not book Rebecca to come to you before the event either to create a special, new make-up look for you or simply to apply your make-up professionally so it lasts all day/night?
Rebecca does make-up for many events such as proms, parties, hen-nights, Ladies Day at Ascot, corporate events and dinner-dances. This service is perfect if you wish to try out a new make-up look but are lacking the confidence in doing it yourself. Maybe you want to try a 'smokey eye' or a glamorous evening make-up, perhaps with false eyelashes to add an extra dimension. Start your event off with some pampering and book Rebecca to do it for you!
Rebecca offers one-to-one make-up lessons which are useful for:
Lessons usually last around two hours and Rebecca will show you step-by-step how to apply the make-up and will send you afterwards a breakdown of all the products used with a 'face-sheet' to remind you how to recreate it yourself.
Rebecca is available on a freelance basis for photographic make-up services such as makeovers, model/actor portfolio shoots, editorial photo-shoots. Fees vary depending on job so please contact Rebecca to discuss your individual requirements.
